The KNVB has published the new competition of GVC1.
GVC1 will compete in district East, in the Standard 4th class B. This means that, whereas last season opponents came from the region west of Wageningen, this year GVC1 will play against teams to the south and the north of Wageningen.
The map below shows from which towns the opponents are from (credits to: HollandseVelden.nl). GVC is happy with the division. The teams are, mostly, from small villages, not from cities. Typically, this means, fair matches, without agression.
If you are a student and looking for a team to play football with at high level (although, we are not professionals, of course), you are welcome to join. The training sessions for the first season are on Tuesday and Thursday, from August 28th onwards.
