This week the Winter Introduction Days are organised for students starting their BSc or MSc this February. GVC will present itself on Friday at the student association market.
To all these new students that are about to start a new chapter of their life in Wageningen, we say: If you enjoy playing football, then why not join the Student Football Club: GVC!? After all, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy!
Joining GVC means you can play football with people from all over the world. It also gives you a good opportunity to meet nice people, which will help you to feel at home as soon as possible.
GVC offers football at both a high and a low level. You can choose whether you want to only participate in training sessions (men and women) or you can also join the Dutch official football competition and play matches in the weekends. GVC has teams playing at a recreational and at a competitive level, both on Saturday and on Sunday. Joining the competition means you play matches all around the Wageningen area, allowing you to see the Dutch life in a whole new perspective.
If you are interested, please feel free to participate one of our training sessions. If you want to play competitively, then you may want to register soon, so that we can arrange your official player card. The Dutch soccer organization does not accept unregistered persons to play official matches. Registration can be done here.
